submissions for our print journal are currently CLOSED

send all submissions to lowlydirtchildren@gmail.com. please include your name in the subject line of your email along with one of the following: poetry, visual art, multimedia, or prose. in the body of your email include the following information:

​

1. your name under which you publish & your pronouns

2. titles of your work

3. any links to social you'd like included

​

please send your submission as an attachment -- we prefer .docx and .jpg. specific submission requirements below:

​

for poetry, please submit 1-3 poems totaling no more than 6 pages in length. include all poems in one document, with each poem beginning on a new page.

​

for visual art & multimedia, please submit 1-4 pieces of work. send us files at around 300 dpi, sized for a 5.5 x 8.5 page.

​

for prose, please submit work totaling no more than 3000 words. 

​

work must be previously unpublished. we happily read simultaneous submissions, but let us know asap if your work has been accepted elsewhere.

we will get back to you within two months of submission close. please drop us a line if you don't hear from us by then.
